Health Camps: The Tenzing Norgay Sherpa Foundation has organized free Health Camps in the remote villages of the Darjeeling district area. This is an outreach program for the villagers who do not get much medical care. The Foundation will usually have about 10 to 12 Doctors volunteering, and all medication is free. On an average we oversee about 400 – 500 patients in one health camp.

Tenzing Norgay Sherpa Foundation in partnership with the Rotary Club held a Free Health Camp at Phedi Khola, Darjeeling district. Over 280 patients seen and free medicine provided, most patients were Sherpas form remote villages.

Drug Free Society Nepal: We are proud to support the Drug Free Society of Nepal, a grassroots organization, working compassionately to provide free shelter, care and support for individuals addicted to drugs who have no home or family support.
